SPIRITUAL DARKNESS

It is very sad that without the Saviour, mankind is blundering his way through life and stumbling at every corner.
It is a life that can only be described as spiritual darkness.
It is in this dark arena that man plays with the secrets of life itself, whilst at the same time ignoring the Creator and the very essence of existence,

Man ignores the fact that:

• He has achieved brilliance without wisdom.
• He has unimaginable power without conscience.
• He has trampled on everything that is Holy.
• He has belittled the Scriptures and ignored its Author.
• He knows more about WAR than he does about PEACE.
• His efforts to find peace are set to fail because he has ignored The Prince of Peace.
• He knows more about KILLING than about LIVING.
• He has grasped the mystery of the atom and yet has rejected its Creator.
• He may well cry as the Prophet Isaiah did when he said:

Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. Isaiah 6:5

We must never forget that:

• God has not left us without a witness.
• He has left us His Holy Word.
• We are told this in Psalm 119:105 – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Having accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour we have allowed the Greatest Light to enter our lives.
We therefore have no excuse for living in a world of darkness.
There is no excuse for walking in Spiritual Darkness!
Ask and Receive, Knock and Enter – Seek and Find – all of this will happen because He is in us and we are in Him!
