WHAT PROOF IS THERE?

Adam and Eve and Noah’s Ark are two stories that are most remembered.
The opposition to the story of Adam and Eve is legion, because, man in his wisdom will not accept that the world and all in it, was created by a Holy and Righteous God. Instead they put their faith in a hazy notion that we all evolved after a big bang!
The opposition to the story of Noah and the Ark is equally legion, because man will not believe that a loving God would cause it to rain for so long and destroy all of mankind.
What do you believe?
My answer to those who do not believe the record of the beginning of civilisation as found in the Bible is:
- What alternative do you offer which can replace the evidence of Scripture, and what proof do you offer for your belief?
- Have you really, honestly and sincerely considered what the Big Bang theory is all about?
It is at this point that all reason goes out of the window and we are bombarded by thoughts and theories, all of which point away from an Almighty God, Creator of all things. Put simply: They will not have This Man to rule over them.
The Biblical event of Adam and Eve carried a warning: Do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed this warning and were banished from the Garden of Eden and from God’s sight.
The Biblical event of Noah and the Ark carried a warning: Repent or perish. The population mocked and ridiculed Noah for about 120 years, refusing to listen to his preaching of approaching doom and were destroyed in a flood of such proportions that only 8 souls survived.
The Scriptures further contain a description of a time period and man’s behaviour:

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of self more than lovers of God… KJV |
But mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God… NIV |
I will challenge anyone to prove that this is not speaking of the world as we know it today! The time period is now! The day and age and the description of the behaviour of man is now! The Biblical account fits like a glove! Of this there can be no doubt whatsoever!
