FOOD FOR YOUR JOURNEY

TODAY

For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Today if ye will hear His voice, Harden not your heart…

….choose you this day whom ye shall serve;….

Joshua 24:15

These sobering words are found in the Bible, and for those of us who know the Saviour they are words of great comfort, and this is because we know the Shepherd, we are sheep, and we are in His pasture. We also know that He will lead us and guide us, if we are listening. How often do we not hear His voice during our busy lifestyles, rushing to and fro, with so much to do and so little time in which to do it all. Are we really listening?

Has God spoken to you recently? Have you heard a voice speaking to you?

We need to choose who we will serve. We should not be tempted to put aside the Good News of our Salvation and return to our old ways.

…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

May these words of Joshua be an inspiration to all who are struggling to balance a temporal hectic life style with blessings which can only come from an eternal God. Choose Him now and experience the peace, love and joy which only He can give.
