LOVE ONE ANOTHER

A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another. John 13:34-35

After reading what God wants us to do and how He wants us to behave here on earth I find it is incomprehensible that there are so many who hate Christianity and want its teachings banned. Lets look at this verse one more time:

• God has commanded that we love one another.
• That we love others as He has loved us.
• And that by obeying this commandment all men will know that we are His disciples.

I am utterly bewildered as to why these three things are considered wrong by non-believers and I have often asked myself what would they have us do in place of loving one another? Kill each other?

Surely love is what the world is lacking. Surely this is what everyone is searching for. Surely this is what is needed in a world that is racked with suffering, pain and misery. The earth is crying out for the madness of hate to stop.

As believers we must live one day at a time and obey this commandment to love one another as He has loved us.

Jesus said:

I am the Way the Truth and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.

John 14:6

This truth is what we must cling to with all our hearts and minds, no matter what the world throws at us.

May the Lord help you and grant you the Grace to do this.
