THE LIFE GOD WANTS FOR HIS PEOPLE
God wants Christians to live a triumphant life, and through Christ, we have the power to overcome:

Sorrow. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice and your joy no man taketh from you. John 16:22

The World. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33

Circumstances. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Romans 8:35,37

Death. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 1 Corinthians 15:54,55

Sorrow.

The World.
-
Circumstances.
-
Death.
Yes, every one of these have been overcome by our Saviour Jesus Christ, and by being obedient and placing our trust in Him, they are overcome in us as well.
What more could we ask for?
If things are getting you down and you feel sometimes that you can’t go on; remember that Jesus went through this for us that we may have life, and have it more abundantly, not forgetting that this world is not our final resting place, this world is not our home, our home is in Heaven and we are merely passing through.
What a wonderful destination we have to look forward to!
