THANKFULNESS AND REJOICING

There is a distinct relationship between Thankfulness and Rejoicing.

Giving Thanks

O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:1

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 5:20

In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Rejoicing

Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: let such as love Thy Salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.

Psalm 40:16

By whom also we have access by faith into His Grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the Glory of God.

Romans 5:2

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say Rejoice.

Philippians 4:4

Only when we really know the Lord and give thanks for His Love and Mercy can we experience real joy. There is much to be thankful for and much to be joyful in.

My prayer is that you are doing one and experiencing the other. Remember that the word JOY, for a believer, actually means:

JESUS AND YOU WITH NOTHING IN BETWEEN!
